Building Partnerships between Parishes and NAMI to Reduce Hispanic Mental Health Disparities
Description

A collaboration between RAND, NAMI, and the Diocese of San Bernardino facilitated the first randomized controlled trial to address Hispanic mental health disparities within a congregational setting, using a multi-level intervention involving a host of NAMI programs. 1 We will present findings on the intervention's effectiveness, reach, and lessons learned with respect to building partnerships between NAMI and faith communities.
