It can easily feel like we are experiencing a barrage of man-made and environmental disasters. While the uncertainty can be daunting, one constant banner of hope is NAMI. Meet NAMI leaders who stepped up to build community in the midst of the wildfires in Hawaii, tornadoes in Southwest Iowa, and a mass shooting in Maine. Attendees will also learn about the resources available from the NAMI National Marketing and Communications team to support effective crisis response and community outreach. This includes best practices for messaging, engaging with media, and using social media during a crisis.
