Dr. Twanna House is the Director of Programs for National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Emerald Coast covering the Northwest Florida panhandle. She is also a Board Certified Professional Mental Health Coach. She received her Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Troy University in 2015 and her Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Counseling from Andersonville Theological Seminary in 2020. She is an ordained Elder and has served as a Pastor for over 15 years. She is a survivor of severe depression after a 30-year battle. She is the Founder/CEO of Beacon of Hope Champions Ministries, LLC, an organization devoted to creating awareness about emotional and mental wellness being essential to spiritual growth, providing education to properly equip Pastors, leaders, and caring citizens in ministering to congregants dealing with mental health conditions. Dr. House currently serves as the Secretary on the Executive Committee of NAMI National FaithNet Council.
