What is Pathways to Hope?
Pathways to Hope is a free, empowering conference focused on transforming mental health understanding and support—especially at the intersection of faith and wellness. Join a welcoming community where mental health and faith connect. Nineteen NAMI State Organizations and Affiliates will host both national keynote sessions and locally curated workshops that explore the vital role of spirituality in mental health support.

August 22nd-23rd. All NAMI National sessions will be streamed virtually, while Affiliate-specific programming may take place virtually, in person, or both—depending on the location.

Registration is open now and completely free! Just head to the registration page and select the Affiliate closest to you. If you don’t live near a participating Affiliate, feel free to select the NAMI National virtual-only option.

We've partnered with multiple NAMI Affiliates to bring you meaningful, relevant programming. If you would like to watch the plenary sessions only, please register for NAMI National.
What do all of the conference types mean?
What do all of the conference types mean?
Virtual: The entire conference takes place online. Attendees join from their own locations using computers or mobile devices to access live sessions, networking, and exhibitions through digital platforms.
In-Person: A traditional conference where all attendees gather at a physical venue for face-to-face sessions, networking, and exhibitions.
Hybrid: A combination format where some attendees participate in person at the venue while others join virtually online. Live sessions are broadcast to both audiences simultaneously.

Pathways to Hope is an inclusive community for all experiences and perspectives, including all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, religious practices, socioeconomic statuses, and any other demographic. We invite everyone attending to be their authentic self. Diverse perspectives and lived experiences guide our programming and our work. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive experience that reflects those values. Closed captioning and multi-language translation will be available for all virtual sessions, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees.
