Doug Beach served as the Executive Director of NAMI Greater San Antonio and as its past Board President. Doug has been a NAMI Family to Family Instructor and has led a Family Support Group for almost fifteen years. In 2016 Doug helped launch PATHWAYS TO HOPE, a city-wide conference for to help engage faith communities along with people from throughout the community to help support people impacted by a mental illness. After the 2020 Pathways to Hope Conference, Doug led the formation of Bridges to Care San Antonio to help faith communities in San Antonio create mental health friendly congregations. Doug currently serves as the Chair of the NAMI FaithNet Council, NAMI National’s outreach to faith communities. As Chair of the FaithNet Council serves as an Advisory Member of NAMI National’s Board of Directors.
