Speaker Bio
Sally Stewart grew up in Queens, New York, and has spent over thirty years building a career most actors only dream of. A proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA, she's appeared on BULL, FBI: Most Wanted, The Sopranos, New York Undercover, and every iteration of Law & Order, sharing scenes with talents like Mariska Hargitay, Jerry Orbach, and Michael Imperioli. On stage, she played Rose in Fences under Broadway legend Marion McClinton, and stood opposite the iconic Ruby Dee Off-Broadway. Most recently, she appeared in The Dutchman, which premiered at SXSW 2025 alongside André Holland and Kate Mara, and she's next set to terrify audiences in the horror film Parasomnia.

But performing has never been the whole story for Sally. For the past ten years, she's also worked as a leadership coach, drawn to the same thing that drew her to acting in the first place: watching people discover they're capable of more than they thought. That belief is what led her to found The Total Actor, an acting school built to pass her training on to the next generation, and to create POP PAIRINGS, a food-and-wine culture series now in development for streaming. For Sally, reinvention isn't a departure from the work — it's the work. She wakes up every day with the same question: how can I be better than I was yesterday? It's a question she believes belongs to all of us, especially in a room built around mental health — because possibility, resilience, and the courage to keep becoming are exactly what healing looks like in motion.
