Her passion lies in breaking down barriers and ensuring that vital resources are accessible, approachable, and responsive to everyone. Charu channels this extensive experience into a broader systemic impact. She serves as the Principal of KaZo LLC, a strategic consulting firm that strengthens and supports nonprofits across the country. Alongside her consulting work, she leads NAMI National’s Chai & Chat initiative, where she focuses on empowering everyday community leaders to spark meaningful, culturally grounded mental health conversations within the South Asian community.
