Juno Pitchford - NAMI’s first Manager of Black Community Engagement. Currently NAMI’s Manager of HBCU Engagement and Special Projects. Raised in Fredericksburg, VA. Lineage from a plantation near Massaponax, VA. Wrote the curriculum to earn the first BA in African American Culture from Virginia Commonwealth University. That curriculum became the basis for the VCU Af-Am Studies Department. Former Counselor of dual-diagnosis adolescents and teens. Former musician, producer and DJ.
