Halle Gensler is a mental health advocate serving as Youth & Young Adult Engagement Coordinator at NAMI DuPage and a Next Gen Advisor with NAMI, where they advance youth-centered strategies that expand access to mental health support and care. Their advocacy work has reached communities across the country, from Alaska to Appalachia, centering lived experience to promote more equitable and responsive mental health systems.

Halle has contributed their expertise to organizations and institutions including Campus Compact, the Bonner Foundation, the Smithsonian Institution, and the Highlander Research & Education Center. In their role at NAMI DuPage, they work to elevate young voices through peer support initiatives, classroom-based mental health education, and youth leadership development. Their work includes supporting Recovery Connection Support Groups, delivering Ending the Silence programming, and expanding NAMI On Campus chapters that empower young people to become mental health advocates in their schools and communities.
