Jason Ferrari is a Recovery Support Specialist who combines lived experience with a passion for helping others navigate mental health struggles and recovery.  He completed NAMI DuPage’s Recovery Support Specialist internship program and continues to support others through both peer support and his work in a clinical setting as a Behavioral Health Associate, where he facilitates groups and works directly with individuals in recovery.  Jason has also been involved in podcasting for more than 15 years and believes strongly in the value of creativity, connection, and meaningful outlets as part of recovery.  His own experiences have shaped his belief that the challenges we face can become sources of strength, purpose, and connection with others.  He is passionate about reducing stigma and showing that there is no single path to recovery.
