Shuchi Srivastava is a passionate mental health and peer-support leader dedicated to creating accessible, compassionate, and community-based pathways to recovery. As the Director of Peer Support Services and Director of Peer Workforce Development at NAMI DuPage, Shuchi provides strategic leadership for a growing portfolio of peer-led services, including Living Room services, peer 1:1 support, support groups, community field sites, and workforce development initiatives.

In her role, Shuchi leads the recruitment, training, mentoring, and supervision of Peer Support Specialists and emerging peer professionals while helping expand opportunities for individuals pursuing CRSS/CPRS certification and careers in the peer-support workforce. She also works closely with hospitals, schools, senior communities, shelters, and other community partners to strengthen connections between individuals and the resources that support recovery and wellbeing.

Shuchi has developed and expanded culturally responsive programs that bring peer support directly into the community, including support groups and outreach initiatives designed to reduce stigma and create spaces where people feel heard, understood, and empowered.

With a background that combines leadership, program development, community engagement, and lived-experience-informed advocacy, Shuchi believes that hope grows when people are met with understanding, connection, and the belief that recovery is possible. She is committed to building systems where peer voices are valued, and individuals are empowered to become active participants in their own recovery journey.
