Suzy is a Houston-based rock and metal singer-songwriter who proves it is never too late to pursue a dream. After growing up in rural Mississippi and spending years in public relations and marketing, she returned to music in her 50s and released two acclaimed EPs, The Best Revenge and Suzy. Known for a sound described as “Joni Mitchell meets Metallica,” she now performs as Suzy and the Substitutes and has appeared at legendary venues, including The Whisky and House of Blues Las Vegas.

Suzy has shared the stage with renowned artists such as Paul Stanley, Nancy Wilson, Rob Halford, Buddy Guy, and members of Judas Priest. She also supports Cruefest Hollywood, an annual benefit for children with cancer.
