Hope Squad is a research-based, peer-to-peer suicide prevention program available at every Tomball ISD junior high and high school campus. Students are nominated by their peers and trained to recognize signs of emotional distress, reduce stigma, build connections, and connect classmates with trusted adults and appropriate support.

Guided by trained campus advisors, Hope Squad members lead student activities focused on building a positive school culture, increasing mental health awareness, and creating an environment where students feel seen, supported, and comfortable asking for help. Hope Squad does not replace professional counseling; instead, it strengthens each campus’s safety net by empowering students to look out for one another and reminding every student that hope and help are always available.
