Dean Pye has been the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program Administrator at Betty Hardwick for the past three (3) years and is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to serve the youth in the Big Country area. He has worked at Betty Hardwick for 14 years in a variety of departments, including Adult Mental Health, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and the Care Coordination Departments. Dean is originally from the Houston area before moving to Arkansas for school and then finally to Abilene for his graduate work. He studied at Abilene Christian University for Marriage and Family Therapy and is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He provides training on AS+K Suicide Awareness with Betty Hardwick, and also supervises the Mental Health First Aid and Behavioral Health Partnership Program. Dean is married to his wife of 17 years (Erica) and they have one son (Calvin). His family enjoys traveling and has made it a recent life goal to visit every National Park.
