Isidro is a born and raised El Pasoan and earned both his BA in Organizational and Corporate Communication (2017) and his MBA (2021) from the University of Texas at El Paso. He started with NAMI El Paso as a volunteer in 2015, working on the website and other small projects. His passion for NAMI's mission stems from witnessing the impact of stigma and "machismo culture" on mental health. Since joining, he has held various roles including Board Member, Outreach and Fundraising Coordinator, and Director of Outreach and Fundraising before becoming the Executive Director. He is dedicated to working with the board, staff, and volunteers to advance NAMI El Paso's mission of providing education, advocacy, support, and awareness to individuals with mental health conditions and their families.
