When and where is NAMICon 2025?

Held June 11-13, NAMICon 2025 will be completely virtual, meeting you where you are!

How and when do I register, and how much does it cost?

Registration is set to open in mid-February. Join our NAMICon email list to stay updated on registration and all things NAMICon 2025.

Why is NAMICon fully virtual this year?

We have listened to our attendees and have chosen to move NAMICon 2025 to a virtual platform to offer a more financially equitable experience. By removing the expenses related to travel and accommodation for in-person events, we aim to:

  • Increase access to NAMICon programming for all members of the alliance.
  • Offer more sessions that address the array of needs and interests of our community.
  • Refine NAMICon content to more accurately reflect the unique and diverse voices of mental health.
  • Increase attendee participation and engagement, creating a more lasting impact.

What steps is NAMI taking to ensure this is a safe, accessible, and equitable experience?

NAMICon is an inclusive community for all experiences and perspectives, including all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, religious practices, socioeconomic statuses, and any other demographic. We invite everyone attending to be their authentic self.

Diverse perspectives and lived experiences guide our programming and our work. We’re committed to fostering an inclusive NAMICon experience that reflects those values.

NAMI is committed to making the convention accessible to all individuals. Closed captioning and multi-language translation will be available for all sessions, creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all attendees.

Getting Involved

Will I get much out of the convention if I am not affiliated with NAMI?

If you have a story to share and a passion for mental health, we have a spot with your name on it at NAMICon. Professional experience or a previous connection with NAMI are not necessary to participate in and appreciate NAMICon.

NAMI is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization working on behalf of individuals with lived experience and caregivers. Whether or not you are a member of NAMI, you will benefit from the information offered during the event, as well as the chance to network with some of the most knowledgeable mental health advocates in the nation.

Are there scholarships available?

This year, we are not offering scholarships for our convention. We are committed to providing valuable content at an affordable price point for everyone.  Our fully virtual format allows us to keep costs low, ensuring that access to the event remains within reach for all interested attendees.

Can I earn Continuing Education Credits (CEs) for attending virtual NAMICon 2025?

NAMICon 2025 will not be offering offer Continuing Education Units (CEs) this year. While we value professional development, NAMICon 2025 will primarily focus on fostering community and providing accessible education and support for a wide range of attendees.
