Kim H. Jones serves as the Executive Director of NAMI Georgia and, more importantly, is the proud mother of a child living with a mental health condition. As the leader of Georgia’s largest grassroots mental health advocacy organization, Kim brings both personal insight and professional expertise to the forefront of a movement that affects thousands across the state. Under her leadership, NAMI Georgia champions innovative solutions, fights stigma, and drives systemic change across the state.

Appointed by the late Speaker David Ralston to the Behavioral Health Reform and Innovation Commission, Kim has been a powerful force in shaping state policy and driving meaningful reform. Kim is also the co-founder of the Georgia Mental Health Policy Partnership, a coalition amplifying diverse voices to champion unified, impactful policy initiatives. Her strategic advocacy was instrumental in the passage of Georgia’s Mental Health Parity Act. Kim’s leadership at NAMI Georgia is driven by an unwavering commitment to those she serves, reflecting her dedication to building a more compassionate and equitable mental health system across Georgia.

She has 20+ years of experience in nonprofit management, education, training, and business development. Before joining NAMI Georgia, Jones was the director of skills development at Goodwill of North Georgia and served as the founding executive director of the Atlanta Women's Business Center.
