Wendy Casper, 57 years old, has a 25-year-old daughter Amber, A master’s degree in psychology, which she plans to use as a counselor to those living with mental illness. She is the Program Coordinator for NAMI Gwinnett. She facilitates support group for persons living with mental illness, she is an education teacher and a training of Sharing Your Story with Law Enforcement. She speaks on mental health and suicide prevention to middle and high schools. She shares her mental health recovery story publicly as a presenter of In Our Own Voice. She is a member of the Prevention Action Coalition Mental Health Task Force in Gwinnett. She maintains the NAMI Gwinnett website.
